Float Plan by Trish Doller

Oh my heart, this was a beautiful adult romance novel that deals with heavy issues!
(TW suicide, depression, abelist ideals)

Anna has lost Ben her fiancé. Grief stricken and feeling the need to leave, she decides to finally take the trip on his boat through the Caribbean Islands they had planned.
Trouble is Anna doesn't know all she needs to know to sail on the open seas.

She places an ad and hires Keane (a beautiful Irish man) to help her sail. Keanu had a prosthetic on his right leg from an accident but he's been sailing for a long time and knows what to do.

They become fast friends as they spend weeks together. They both work through their situations of grief in their own way and slowly find love with each other.

I want to set sail in the Caribbean! This is full of beautiful imagery. I love that Anna was scared to move on even when she discovered her feelings for Keane. She has to process so much before she can move on.
