I’m honestly not sure what to think about this book.

I know it’s good — it was good — but it also felt kind of juvenile. I still enjoyed, it but something about it felt a little too film-y? And that’s not necessarily a bad thing, in fact, it made it very readable, but there were quite a number of plot holes, the characters felt a little stereotypical, and the writing style just felt a little… unsure of itself. There was also the fact that I couldn’t really picture the characters as sixty year olds. Maybe that’s a me problem, but it’s true. I was just thinking, “OK these are insane, no way sixty year olds are able to do that,” but, all in all, it’s still a good book, an enjoyable book to read. It’s the type of book that you have to turn your brain off to read that also works well if you’re imagining Hollywood movie to go with it. But it’s a good book if you’re looking for a quick read, so yeah.
