Obsessed with Christina Lauren but this isn’t their best. Easy read but green card marriage and miscommunication tropes are not my fave.
The characters are completely unlikable. Robert gives life, Calvin really subscribes to the idea of withholding pertinent info and then being like “well you didn’t ask so that’s not my fault” mentality when everyone else gets hurt by it. Holland is so lost in her own head and lack of confidence that she becomes unbearable. Lulu is in her villain era but not having the Natalie photo be a lulu photoshop creation that she sold to the press to intentionally keep Holland from Calvin was a huge missed opportunity imo.
The accentuated Irish accent on audio is like nails on a chalkboard.
