Honestly can see why it is called the father of SCIFI there is a little bit of everything in here. The first book honestly felt like summary of a much more expansive book tho. I really want a more detailed look into all the theories that it presents. The Ideas of using religion as a form of control, trade as a form of control even though really enthralling it does very little with the ideas it presents.

Never really understood the part where people said there is no character development tho. I mean Hari Seldon, Salvor Hardin are incredibly memorable. Cant really get into spoilers some of the moments felt so powerful.

The whole book is so on the point and scene driven (?) I wanted the book to really take me on a journey and this just felt like a sprint.

Maybe book 2 and 3 might make me see how it is for now its only a 4/5
