Reading books like this will never stop making me angry about how long it took for people to stop covering up such heinous acts and do what’s right. Thank you Ronan Farrow for doing the right thing and telling the stories of these brave women and exposing so many lies. It was past time for somebody to stand up for these women and it’s still so sad to me that there are stories out there that will never be heard. The fact that people in positions of power got away with such despicable behavior for such a long time is unbelievable. I hope this book and other articles written like it will be a reminder to speak up when we see or hear something that isn’t right.
I thought this book was incredible and so well researched, however, I listened to the audiobook and felt that the accented voices used by the author while reading were a little overly dramatic. Although the book may not have been as entertaining without the accented voices, the facts in the book speak for themselves with or without the added drama.
