Sexy, angsty, emotional, and just delicious. I loved Danny's self-assured style and his joy in his sexuality. I also loved his relationships with Bo and (especially) with his parents.
Despite this--and after much wibbling--I only give it 3 stars. I would have liked to know Lance better. Just a glimpse of what he was thinking/feeling/going through would have made him a deeper character. There was also a little too much telling, rather than showing, when it came to Danny and Lance's relationship. We're told they talk, that Danny sees how Lance's learning disability affects him, that they're compatible and comfortable with each other despite not having much in common....it would have been nice to have 20-25 extra pages exploring a little of that. For me, it would have made their happily ever after a bit more believable.
