Honestly, The Second Mrs. Astor was just not my cup of tea. When I read romance novels, I typically like there to be more than just the romance. If that's your thing, then you may enjoy this book. For me, however, I barely finished it. The entire book just felt like it was lacking any personality. The bulk of the story was before the Titanic sinking. It revolved around attending parties and social functions and didn't seem very interesting.
