Five out of five stars! Fantastic contemporary romance read!
Boyfriend Material started as a slow burn, where the characters already knew each other well, their past not all rainbows and sunshine. They acted timidly around each other before they caved in, and the build up was everything.
They both had secrets and demons of their own and only a select few knew what was going on behind closed doors. Julia carried an enormous burden, Eric was struck by guilt and other people's expectations. My heart broke for them, they deserved better. I loved their friendship and how much they came to mean to each other. And the romantic tension between them was so delicious to read about. They were made for each other.
This was simply divine and the epilogue was so sweet and heartwarming.
Ilsa's storylines are engaging, her characters are developed and she always drops some complex issues into her stories, which I love.
