Love and Payne by Charlie Cochet
2.0
I've listened to all the THIRDS books and I've enjoyed them all. So I was looking forward to Austen's story. Looking forward to seeing how his and Zach relationship would come about.
Unfortunately the book is a poor attempt at a story, where the relationship falls victim to the plot, causing revelations to be given and immediately ignored, personalities to shift as the plot demands. And culminates in the bad guy standing and monolguing about all his plans before we're even aware he was a player in the story.
Just about everything that takes place does so because the plot demands it instead of because the characters want to.
I'm sorry to say this is the weakest of the Cochet books I've read
