Trigger warning for SA female main character tries to get male main character to impregnate her. It’s unclear if he’s still drunk while she does it, but he had been. She knows he doesn’t want to get her pregnant, but she doesn’t let him pull out as he normally does. They make up afterwards but it may still be upsetting for readers.
Classism exists but you don’t really confront it face on. Death of a parent is mentioned as a past event on the author doesn’t dwell on it. Early miscarriage is implied but you can ignore it if you choose to believe that the FMC’s period is simply much later than normal, which is what she voices. It’s played as more of a pregnancy scare than an early miscarriage. Pregnancy Themes of pregnancy and parenthood dominate the latter half of the book.
