First of all, Eveline is badass. She's definitely lost a few screws, but she's just so headstrong and committed that I can't help but admire her for it. Also the gun scene??? That was crazy. Her whole thing about calling the men pups and using dog analogies was so good. She's definitely a switch. I did think that her confession came out of nowhere, but it's okay. Similar to the previous books, I felt like there is little genuine attraction between the main characters, but I can let it go. I was kind of sad to see that Cody was a narc just because it would mean that Eveline was truly all alone. Guess she has Nicholas now though. Overall, it was good, but definitely not amazing.
