This book was good overall. It took me a bit longer to connect with the characters,
but overall it was a very cute story. I didn’t necessarily like the ending, but I liked that it was what made Harriett happy. I also think this was a very slow burn, lots of tension building just to drop again. It didn’t go the way I expected totally, but again, I appreciated the story overall. Loved the friendship aspect as well, I’d love to have friends like this group. The love connection was also very beautiful, and I loved how devoted they were to each other. This wasn’t necessarily a book I couldn’t put down, not u til things picked up at the end. But I loved the metaphors, the imagery, motifs, etc.
