“And so the lion fell in love with the lamb…" he murmured. I looked away, hiding my eyes as I thrilled to the word.
"What a stupid lamb," I sighed.
"What a sick, masochistic lion.”

Twilight is so funny to me omg. Sometimes I love it and sometimes it's just a piss-take. I haven't read this book since 2015 but I remember it so clearly, even down to the airport scene which we don't get to see in the movie. This book was so long though? Like comparing it to the length of the movie i was so surprised. And the fact that James and Victoria doesn't happen until the last 150 pages too, like wtf.

“You are my life now.”

I still love it, it's such a guilty pleasure and I do want to read the rest of the series because I'm so excited for midnight sun. It's just finding time in between all the other books I'm reading. Bella still annoys me, sometimes shes so stupid but at least Edward was so much funnier in the books than he was in the movie. There was more personality to the characters which i liked. The only thing lacking was some explaining, like it was never specified that they loved each other until it was there yk. But otherwise, not bad for a book written in 2006

“Twilight, again. Another ending. No matter how perfect the day is, it always has to end.”
