This book kept me listening way past my bedtime. It is full of mystery and intrigue and drew me in right from the start. The story is told mostly from the perspective of Bea in the present, with excepts from Savannah in the past. There were lots of twists and I feel like I suspected everyone at one time or another while listening. Lucy Clarke is the queen of destination thrillers and I feel like I've travelled the world with her. This one is set in Morocco and the descriptions of the Surf House in a village near Marrakech are stunning and I felt like I was there watching the goings-on. I also loved the descriptions of the surfers and their exhilarating highs but also the dangers they sometimes face.
Great narration by Sarah Slimani.
