Fingersmith by Sarah Waters

4.0

A very unique, complex story structure filled with great tension featuring a beautiful sapphic love story that ends up driving a lot of the characters’ motivations. Waters offers a lot of interesting commentary on misogyny and the perversion of queer love within the setting of the novel that still applies to our contemporary world. Ultimately, it’s a very captivating read and many of the plot twists truly left me astounded.
