Not as good as Annihilation, but I liked that Authority picked up Annihilation's story where it left off, but from a different perspective. Story dragged a bit in this one, but there was still plenty of creepiness and a consistent suspicion of pretty much everything. Will definitely read the third book because I still want to know if there are any answers out there.
