“A man was defined not by his flaws, but by how he overcame them.”

I sat and stared at a wall for 20 minutes after finishing this book, attempting to recover. The more I think about it, the better it gets.

I appreciated the slower pace in the beginning as it gave me time to catch my breath after the first Mistborn ending. Character development was strong across the board (even the Kandra whut?) and the extensive political battles set the stage for a wiiild ending. Overall, I had no idea what Brandy Sandy was going to do next which was exhilarating and I’m ready for round 3!
