The Wager: A Tale of Shipwreck, Mutiny, and Murder by David Grann

adventurous informative medium-paced

4.0

This was probably the most "narrative" historical nonfiction book I have read and I enjoyed it! As expected from a nonfiction book, it set the scene of the British naval system at the time. That was probably the driest part of the book along with introducing all the characters. However, this paid off when the real story started.

The main story was an interesting bit of history I had never heard about before. I would recommend this book to people who are interested in British naval history and/or shipwrecks.
