The Importance of Getting Revenge
by Amanda Abram
i really liked this book at the beginning. thought it would be my favorite “fake-dating” teen book so far. but no. it just got worse half-way through. the heroine was wayyy too wishy washy. having like three guys she couldn’t choose from. come on. and the hero... please dude. he was literally waxing poetry about a DIFFERENT girl the whole time too. i really liked the slow build romance and how the hero and heroine didn’t fall in love in a snap. but still. when half of the book is devoted to having the hero and heroine like different people, it’s quite hard to get invested into the romantic couple. but i did like the ending. it was chill.
