Dragon Age: Deception\xa0#3 by Sachin Teng, Michael Atiyeh, Fernando Furukawa, Nunzio DeFilippis, Christina Weir

5.0

As much as I love Dragon Age, I must admit I didn't expect to be truly moved by one of Bioware's comics. They're fun and a great way to learn more about the lore and the world of Thedas, but they're not the deepest or best made comics out there. Yet, this one took me on a proper journey, made me care for its characters, and made me feel for them during this particular issue. This three-parts story felt more like the games that inspired it, and I'm genuinely impatient to see what's next for the protagonists and the city's
survivors
themselves, whether it happens in another comic series, another book, or (fingers crossed) the upcoming game.

Also,
Solas
turned into a full blown villain, didn't he? This guy didn't seem to be acting on his own accord, it looked like he was following standard procedure. Which sucks but makes
probably having to kill him alongside the Evanuris
a lot easier to deal with.
