The Relentless Moon by Mary Robinette Kowal
5.0
SPIES! SPIES ON THE MOON!
I'm worried the description will make this book sound a bit dull, but if you've read The Calculating Stars and The Fated Sky, you will love this one too.
It takes place during the events of The Fated Sky - that's a three year mission that Kowal built some earth drama into.
But here's the thing - there was Earth drama, yes. BUT ALSO MOON DRAMA.
It's been really hard for me to read anything new right now during the ~Global Pandemic~ but because I was familiar with these characters and these settings, I raced through, desperate to find out what the heck was going on, who was spying on whom, what was happening where, and you know, all the stuff from a good thriller.
These characters feel real to me. I love them.
