The ABCs of Black History
by Rio Cortez
I received a early digital review copy of The ABCs of Black History in Edelweiss+ by Workman. All opinions are my own.
The ABCs of Black History is a must have on bookshelves as this picture books gives a great overview of Black history and culture. The illustration style was not my favorite but I liked the concept of the ABCs incorporated with black history/culture facts and poem. There are some events/black individuals that I learned about and the glossary and index in the back of the book was very helpful and great with delving a bit more into the information of people and events that were touched on a bit within the book. Either way, fully enjoyed this and looking forward to getting a physical copy for my shelf.
