abarrera 's review for:
Rabbit, Run
by John Updike
This is an interesting book that requires the reader to place it within its cultural and social context. updike is definitely a great writer, although I'm not sure I would say this is an extraordinary book. It's definitely impressive when you take the context of the American society in the 60s, but beyond that, it's a good book but not groundbreaking. Interesting read but not a must.
