Very sad bio on McCurdy’s traumatizing experience in the child actor field fueled by her abusive mother. Not for the faint of heart, highly recommend listening to the author narrated audiobook. She’s extremely brave for sharing her experience so candidly, must read for the generation raised on shows like iCarly.
