This is shockingly my favorite TJR book yet. I did not expect to like it more than Daisy Jones, but I do! The dynamic between Carrie and her dad means so much to me as my dad coached my sports as well. Completely different level, but still. Also, I really want to take real tennis lessons now and become that tennis girl. Carrie Soto is BA and I just love it. Also, the romance that blossoms toward the end of the book is so sweet. I was not expecting any romance plot in this, and it's certainly a very small one, but I love it. This is the most heart-filled novel from TJR's collection in this world (Daisy, Evelyn, and Malibu.) I was kinda ready for this to be my last book by her, but she surprised me and now I want to read her other works as well! I didn't think a book about tennis could be this impactful, but it is!
