Ok I love this series and the premise of the books but this one was a lot. There were so many new characters and missions I was getting confused on where we were and what was going on. Because of this I wasn’t able to really get into it as much and it just kinda felt all over the place,

trying to build up before the final battle. Maybe when I have to reread this before the fourth book comes out I’ll like it more and feel more invested but it just wasn’t it for me this time sadly. Also was started to get annoyed with Xaden and Violet… it was just the same stuff (you shouldn’t be with me vs. you’re not one of them) constantly throughout the whole book that felt repetitive and not beneficial for the story line. Hopefully there’s some more development in the next book. Despite all that though I still love this world and hope it gets better in the next one!
