I usually don't mind age gaps, but this one somewhat bothers me.
Not because she is 17 (turning 18) and he is 29 per say, but because she is a 17 (turning 18) high school student while he is a 29 year old professional wrestler. Literally I wouldn't mind if she was a freshman in college, but she isn't. She hasn't even graduated high school yet.
I would have found this a lot more endearing if she was in college, but instead I feel almost uncomfortable reading about them.

What irritates me is he does try to do the right thing and then she, being the teenager she is, blows up by making him seem like an asshole for trying to cool things down between them since she is still a minor. Her father has every right to be concerned about their relationship.I would have found this a lot more endearing if she was in college, but instead I feel almost uncomfortable reading about them.
