oh my goodness did i have the best time reading this book!!! this is an easy five stars!!! this was so fun, funny, mysterious, romantic and unhinged and i loved every second of it!!
in this we follow zavier, who is a vampire that takes it upon himself to get rid of the scum littering the streets of chicago. one night after finishing up, he spots detective celine brennan, our fmc and newly promoted detective put the case, and his obsession with her begins because she is his mate after all.
zavier is one of my new favorite book boyfriends!! his relationship with celine was so cute. he was so charming and charismatic, it was so hard not to love him!! i also loved celine’s character and her black cat energy to match his golden retriever vibes!
i cannot recommend this book enough!!! if you love books like butcher and blackbird and damon salvatore, this is the perfect book for you!!
