I'm finished. Not with the other 50% of this, but I'm still finished with this whole thing. The first 3 books of the chronicles were good; book 2 was perfect but everything past that?
I already ranted about The Body Thief since it was a wild ride finishing that one. But Memnoch the Devil? No. I'm sorry but I cannot. It's too much and I give up.
This is not even a trashy fun read, no, it's frustrating. The characters changed into weird shadows of themselves and I don't feel anything for them anymore. The plot feels like it was pulled out a fanatic's arse and doesn't even make sense. The writing turns awful.
I'm sorry, but I want to break up, Vampire Chronicles. It's not me, it's you.
