The Final Wife
by Jenny Blackhurst
This was a solid, middle-of-the-road read for me. A woman with a mysterious past, secrets unraveling, and that classic psychological thriller vibe, but it didn’t totally blow me away. I liked the overall pacing and some of the twists were fun, but I found it a bit predictable at times and didn’t feel super connected to the characters.
Still, it kept me turning the pages and there were definitely a few tense moments that worked well. If you enjoy domestic thrillers with a bit of drama and mystery, it’s worth a try, it just might not be the most memorable one out there.
Decent, just not amazing.
