When I thought this series couldn’t get any better WHATTT. This barely ever happens but I could not put this down. I basically read for like 8 hours straight it’s insanity. I was so invested Aren and Lara have my heart so I’m upset we didn’t get more of them after the battle and now the other books aren’t focused on them 😭😭 This felt more plot heavy and I ate it up, from rescuing Aven to their journey through the desert to reuniting with Jor and their eventual battle at Gamire. I can’t believe it’s over. The final scene at Eranhal ATEEE Lana was a boss and it was very stressful seeing her almost drown. In those moments seeing everybody begin to forgive her 😭. I feel like I could read about them forever so I’m excited to see them in The Inadequate Heir. Her sisters too?!? I loved seeing them stand up for Lara and the camaraderie they all had. They felt way closer than I expected but I loved it.
