You’re immediately transported 1912 and to the world of Arthur Pearce, the Coyles, and the Count.
The author is so poetic in terms of imagery; it is both haunting yet beautiful but also so captivating for a book that is less than 200 pages.

Scanned past the cat scene but from what I caught, that scene was an absolute no. But overall an amazingly written  book that takes inspiration from the classics, such as Frankenstein.

Twists and turns, lots of blood and gore, and captivating characters. Would have absolutely loved to read this from Lizzie's POV.
