I am an avid fan of Cathy Lamb, but when I read some of the reviews for this story I was leery to read it, because of the topics inside the book. I have to say that even though when I got to the rough parts of the book, it gave me a little tummy ache, I enjoyed the majority of this book. It was interesting finally hearing about her families history, and when she finally became herself it made me shed a tear... Loved a lot of her characters like always this author has the kookiest but endearing characters..
