🎧: 5/5 the VA does a fabulous job with the voices for all of the primary characters, they had their own personalities that you could really feel through the little nuances she added to each of their lines. The sound effects that they added were just the right amount at the right times!
🌶️: 2.5/5 the spice do be spicing but nothing to wild other than some voyeurism.

While I'm disappointed with a few things in this book I still LOVED the overall series and would reread this! It was not a terrible read by any means! I had a lot of fun at parts, I thought the plot was overall interesting, especially some of the little twists I wasn't expecting. But I just wanted to point out a few plot points that I kept questioning as I kept reading through the book.

This is definitely another book that suffered from the spice - looking through my reading history, you can see I very much enjoy spice! But that's for books I specifically am looking for that to be heavily featured in. This was not one of those books.

I know the spice picked up greatly in the second book but I had hoped it would have toned down a bit for the plot here. Alas, it did not - the spice honestly felt forced at times and unnecessary at others - It's wild how EVERY House of Sin enhanced the pleasure/lustful vibes.
"Oh we're in Greed's section, well I'm greedy for your penis." "Oh we're messing with Envy, well I'm gonna make you jealous by riding up on this man in front of you." It was just kind of weird.
Don't get me wrong! The spice was well written! Just...I wanted the plot!!

Speaking of the plot, the whole arc about Greed's General was so weird. There was no build up to it, there was no reason for Emilia to have been invested as she was with it, and it really became so important and pivotal to the story out of nowhere. I also just had a hard time caring about that plot line - I don't know if it was that there wasn't enough build up in the previous two books or what but it just wasn't a great plot line.

Another point I don't like is a bit of a spoiler.
I hate "new found power and now it's gone" storylines. It's so wild that in one book, the final book of a trilogy, Emilia gets her power and then she looses is barely after having it. It just seems to cheap especially given how much they talked about her and Vittoria's age, how ancient and powerful they were, how everyone around them even the Princes feared them! And yet she had to give up her power? It just doesn't make any sense.

The relationship between Emilia and Vittoria also felt sloppy. I feel like things between them resolved too quickly. I kind of wish there had been a better connection established between them in the second book to lead up to the ultimate twist/conclusion of their relationship in the final book.

Wrath was fine, I feel like he lacked something in the final book where the first two books really built him up for me but he was ultimately fine.

All-in-all I did enjoy this and would reread it! Just had to explain why my rating is what it is haha.

Wrath and Emilia are cute together 💖
