surprised this doesn't have as many funny tags. i mean after that ending i get it (fucking brutal btw) but still, it's a dark subject matter but i found myself laughing through it. love kesey's style of writing and his use of figurative language, paints very vivid almost surreal pictures. was undecided on what score i was going to give this (was considering a 4.5 at first, 4.25 after i picked it back up after finishing the yield and wasn't that invested) but settled on a 4.75 after the ending. could be a 5 if i re-read at some point but i wanna give myself some room before i start rating books 5 stars lolol. still too early for that.
