I enjoyed the psychological information but also the rawness of Stephanie Foo’s storytelling. I feel like a lot of people with complex trauma (diagnosed or not) will relate to these feelings. This is the first memoir in a while that left me feeling so inspired at the end. Also obsessed with her love story with Joey—it gives me hope that a love where someone sees you so wholely and just accepts you (bones and all, if you will) exists. I could talk about their community-focused wedding forever.
I loved that actual recordings of her session conversations toward the end were included in the audiobook. Will be purchasing a physical copy!
