The Princess Saves Herself in This One by Amanda Lovelace
4.0
I have heard so many people rave about this one that I just had to try it out myself. I am still not a too big fan of poetry, so I was a bit hesitant, but after a bumpy start I was totally into this book, I even cried at points as it was so fucking beautiful. About being a woman, slaying those dragons and being your own knight, relationships, losing family, mourning and praying that no one else dies, finding love, abuse, loving books, finding a place to belong, society, and more. With each poem I wanted more. More. More.
The poems vary from short one sentences to longer once. I definitely loved the sentences she ends her poems with (the ones in cursive). They made the poem more powerful, and gave that the extra punch. Recommend to all.
