Scorned Obsession by Victoria Paige

5.0

This was my first book in the series—am I going to read the others? Hell yes. All I want now is to be a mob wife and live that dangerously glamorous life.

Scorned Obsession had me hooked from the start. The mutual obsession between Bianca and Sandro? Absolutely addictive. But let’s talk about the elephant in the room—9-year age gap, and she’s been in love with him since she was five. I know some will find this problematic, and I totally get it. However, I didn’t. Sandro only fell for her as an adult, and she was the one who instigated things. He felt guilt and tried to stay away, which only made their connection stronger. To me, that’s just layers of love—growing from childhood admiration to an all-consuming passion. And this book executed it beautifully.

It kept me on edge the entire time—will they, won’t they?—and just when I thought I knew where it was going, BAM, the plot flipped again. The drama? Chef’s kiss. If you love mafia romance with high stakes, dark obsession, and a story that keeps you guessing, you need to read this.

This was a gifted free copy by the author, the words and rating are entirely my own.
