Third Voice by Cilla Börjlind

2.0

Well, this was disappointing... I read Spring Tide over the summer and loved it so much I was looking forward to the next installment. It was actually very hard to get hold of an English version, so I was very pleased to get my hands on a second-hand copy after months of scouring the internet. Quite frankly, I needn't have bothered. To me, there was nothing interesting in this story so it took me forever to finish the book. The characters I had loved so much in the previous book just irritated me now, but I kept reading because I had read in other reviews that the first half of the book was a bit slow. Given that the pace didn't actually pick up until about the last thirty pages, I really struggled. And so I face a dilemma: given how good the first book was, and how much I disliked the second, is there any point in reading the third?
