I adore this book so much! The way they communicate, show their love for each other, the banter and NO THIRD ACT BREAK UP đź‘Źđź‘Źđź‘Ź I wish I could read the comics that were written by the two MCs, see the art that was described to us! I need that mermaid star crossed lovers graphic novel NOW!
It was refreshing to read a couple helping and healing each other, not becoming resentful or assuming things, but talking it out. Very refreshing. I also really appreciated the way Noah’s pain and the cycle was highlighted, how you can get lost in something and let yourself go down a path you know you shouldn’t.
The only thing I would have liked more is a little bit more tension, the yearning didn’t last long enough for me.
