This one honestly didn’t vibe with me the best.
There were definitely some things I enjoyed. I loved the Aussie content.
The side characters Jules & Mitch were honestly more interesting half the time than our main couple. Some of the faith content was nice, and some was just kinda weird to me? I felt like I didn’t get much of any real faith content till the end of the book. Which I enjoyed some of it. But the majority that was sprinkled in was like “funny Bible reference jokes applicable to now” which I didn’t particularly like or felt like it made this book “good christian” necessarily.
Not trying to diss on this author at all. It was an enjoyable read for the most part, a bit slow at parts. I’ve just definitely read more natural and moving faith content in books than this, so it fell a bit flat for me personally.
