Sapiens: A Brief History of Humankind by Yuval Noah Harari

Did not finish book. Stopped at 36%.

After a few interesting initial chapters about the rise of homo sapiens, the author veers into more modern history and the questions, arguments, and conclusions presented become increasingly flimsy and poorly supported to the point of becoming uninteresting and borderline offensive.
