- This was quite a short book, so I didn’t feel as though much happened plot-wise, but I think the character development was great.
- Tbh the whole Rhian and Rafal thing has always been a bit confusing to me since there are two sets of twins, but after realising this was about the original Rhian and Rafal, I could get into it more as I was able to understand their characters better.
- This had DRAMA. There were lots of cleverly inputted twists and turns which caught me by surprise, but weren’t confusing. For example, the twist that Rhian was the Evil twin and Rafal was the Good one was really well done, as I could recall the author’s subtle hints earlier in the book.
- At first, the side characters such as Hook and the Captain slightly blurred together, and in my mind’s eye they both looked basically the same
