It's an enjoyable supplemental view into Dale Cooper's life, as imagined by Scott Frost. Nothing super deep or challenging, but it has its moments. It feels in-character, and there's a good amount of humor (though Frost does rely on the same joke structure quite often), which makes it a pleasant read. It won't blow your mind, though. Essentially, you should read this if you want to know what kind of weird stuff Dale was up to in college.
Moderate: Adult/minor relationship, Suicide, Suicide attempt
Minor: Addiction, Adult/minor relationship, Animal death, Drug abuse, Homophobia, Infidelity, Sexual content, Suicide, Torture, Kidnapping
It covers a lot of sexual experiences that Dale had as a child/teen, some of which were not age-appropriate.
