Inside Out by Lor Gislason

5.0

I went into Inside Out expecting lots of goopy body horror - it delivered by the bucketful! Inside Out is written like a series of vignettes, with each one building an overall world where things have become, well, very pink and squishy. This structure lets the book move quickly from one gross-out to the next, which fans of body horror will find very satisfying. Inside Out is more than its gore, though. Each chapter is from a different POV, showing off the author's talent for writing diverse characters with unique voices, motivations and relationships. This all makes for a quick, compelling read that is sure to please fans of movies like The Blob and Society. Highly recommended!
