The Lost Metal
by Brandon Sanderson
Well, that was a bit disappointing, and I am a bit sad about it.
I loved the first three instalments of the series - interesting world building, adult characters, original setting. Good, great.
And then we go to the second part … and it’s all so childish and YA. The characters make no sense. Their dialogues are so false and hollow. Sure, the very end with the gods is super cool and I wished we had more of it. This very universe is so well made that I would love to have more. But more of this ? Nah. Wasn’t for me, I suppose.
