The Missing Sister by Lucinda Riley
5.0
The seventh book in the Seven Sisters series did not disappoint. In this book we find out who the missing seventh sister is. The clue and co ordinates take us to Ireland during the fight for independence from the British.
I loved this book as much as the others. The point in history is one that I knew very little about, I googled and learnt an awful lot whilst reading which has been my favourite thing with this series. I enjoyed all of the sisters being together again as they prepared for Pa Salts reunion. And I think I’ve said before, although huge books, they do not feel like huge books. They are easy to read and completely immersive.
One fault I do have is how the sisters spoke so formally to each other. I feel that a resume at the beginning explaining previous events would’ve worked better, rather than the sisters awkwardly explaining bits to each other that they already knew.
Otherwise, a fantastic book with a rather annoying cliffhanger! I cannot wait for the final book.
