I devoured this book in less than 24 hours and I wanted more from Grayson and Harper. This is the 2nd book in The Carolinas Noval series and can be read as a standalone. This was my first book by Angel but it will not be my last. I loved the banter and tension between Grayson and Harper it made the sparks fly in and out of the bedroom. I also loved the suspension part of this book and Harper looking over her shoulder while Grayson tried his best to be there for Harper 🧡. 

 

The chemistry between these too was palpable and I could feel it through the pages from the first time Grayson laid eyes on Harper even when he didn’t recognize her. I loved that from the start of this book both Grayson and Harper were truthful and honest to each other. When a hurricane came in and canceled Harper’s flight she had no choice but to stay and that is how Grayson found her in a bar and convinced her to stay with him.  

 

There was no holding back between these two they built their relationship on a friendship and talking about their feelings. Even with the miscommunication at the end of the book, Harper came back and groveled and fixed what had happened 🧡. 

 

If you love age gap, brother’s best friend, one bed, and touch her and die vibes then this book is for you🧡!
