They Both Die at the End by Adam Silvera
5.0
(From my insta)
Okay so They Both Die At The End is one of my deffient favorite books of all time. If you saw my story while I was reading than you know how I was literally sobbing from page two till the end. @adamsilvera is an amazing author; this is my favorite book of his yet.
-
I met Adam at the launch party (even got to ask a question!) and he such a sweet person, spending a good few minutes talking to everyone who came up and got his book signed. I won't share out convo but just know I appreciate the things he said to me. Swipe all the way to see our picture together!
-
I'll leave you all with my immediate reactions after finishing the book (corrected from the incoherent mess they were when I wrote them down, vision blurry from tears). There's no way of summarizing how this novel made me feel and how much I love it, but in short: 10/5 ⭐️s, highly recommend (though I don't recommend reading in public).
-
(Immediate notes) *slight spoilers*
- was actuaally crying straight through from page 2 till the end and was sobbing so hard at the end
- So well written and especially love Rufus's voice (my boy speaking that New York talk)
- Heart wrenching but beautiful
- Listening to classical music throughout the whole thing only made me cry more sooo
- I'll never listen to American Pie without crying again
