I like Murakami's writing style, and some passages I really loved. Others (namely the sheer volume of incest???) I did not take to. The content of the book itself is just so wildly convoluted, and I fear there are too many loose ends. It is one big riddle, but it doesn't feel as though even the author really knows the answer to it. I might give Norwegian Wood a go, but otherwise I don't think Murakami is for me.
